Marketing Coordinator

The duties and responsibilities for this position will evolve over time as the situation changes with respect to products and services offered by Koppert Canada. However, it can be assumed that the position will support the sales/technical team throughout Canada by providing marketing materials as needed and they will also be responsible for the marketing campaigns and communication of the company’s mission, products and services. This position will work with third party suppliers to ensure that Koppert Canada is well represented in all facets of marketing; this may or may not include website maintenance, social media, print media, customer promotion mailings, etc.


A marketing coordinator in Koppert Canada will have the following functions (not limited to):

1. Manage marketing and corporate image

2. Create sales and technical materials

3. Co-ordinate internal and external communications


Some of the responsibilities for this position include (not limited to):

  • Deliver and implement a marketing plan and budget.
  • Deliver marketing materials, presentations and promotionals according to internal corporate guidelines.
  • Coordinating and assisting on trade shows.
  • Designing, producing and distributing required sales support materials (technical sheets, FAQ sheets, infographics, etc).


Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Permission to work and live in Canada is required.
  • Have a valid passport.
  • College or university degree, or equivalent experience.


Required Competencies (ability to):

  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and written in English.
  • Planning and organization skills; set, prioritize and achieve goals – Individual efficiency
  • Work with various departments across the organization.
  • Intermediate / Advanced Skills in Microsoft Office suite (Power Point, MS Word, Excel, Outlook).


Additional (desired) skills

(It would be advantageous to demonstrate the following)

  • Marketing experience or degree.
  • Relevant business experience.
  • Project Management experience.
  • Experience or proficiency in Adobe CS.
  • Additional languages: French, Spanish or Dutch.
